3 Wheel Travel System: The Good, The Bad, And The Ugly
A Three-Wheel Travel System Is Slimmer and Narrower Than Other Strollers A three-wheel travel system is lighter and more compact than other strollers, making it simple to maneuver through tight spaces. These types of systems are usually ideal for city dwellers. 3 wheel buggy has been designed to adapt to the needs of your family. The stroller easily converts to an infant stroller, and the car seat snaps into a base meant to be used in your vehicle. Baby Jogger City Select Stroller & City Select Car Seat The City Select 2 Stroller, Eco Collection is a versatile stroller that can be converted from a single to double stroller with the addition of an additional seat or glider board (sold separately). It can also be converted to create a triple-travel system by adding an infant bench seat or car seat. In all, it offers 24 configurations and is a top stroller overall. This model utilizes Baby Jogger's breathable, soft TENCEL fabrics that help with thermal regulation and are sustainable sources. It comes with a leatherette handlebar, bumper bar, and belly bar. It folds 20 percent smaller than the market-leading single-to-double stroller, the UPPAbaby Vista V2, and is also lighter. It features a medium-sized shade as well as an e-snap-aboo window which is easy to close or open. The telescoping handlebar is one of the simplest to adjust and works for parents of all heights. The seats recline and come with a footwell adjustment knob to allow you to place your child for maximum comfort. The storage bin has plenty of space, however we would have preferred to have a more secure latch. The bin is easy to open, but the zippers are a bit frustrating because they have to be removed and then secured again after each use. Like its siblings, the City Select has single-action brakes which are easy to set and release by the pulling of a lever located on the side of the frame, lower than the handlebar. It is sandal- and barefoot friendly and is a significant improvement over the awkward levers for brakes that other competitors use. This is the only stroller in our review that can accept two infant car seats, making it a great option for twins or parents with a single child and a baby due. It can fit most infant car seats from major brands with an adapter. We tested it using Britax/BOB Chicco KeyFit 30, Graco Click Connect models Cybex Aton and Aton Q as well as Nuna Pipa. The City Select is not compatible with the UPPAbaby Vista V2. It's a good option for families that already have a car seat and want an appropriate stroller however, you might be better off with another convertible stroller that can accommodate an additional car seat for infants in this case.
